For those wondering about the different types of tournaments:
National Open Tournament  – open to all NCFCA affiliates in the nation.  These are usually large tournaments and the first and second ranked competitors in each event at a National Open get an invitation to the National Invitational Tournament.  All who “break” (advance) get an invitation to their Regional Invitational Tournament.

National Online Mixer Tournament – open to a few selected NCFCA regions in the nation. These are usually small to medium sized tournaments and the first place ranked competitors in each event at a National Mixer get an invitation to the National Invitational Tournament. All who break get an invitation to their Regional Invitational Tournament.

All Region Qualifying Tournament – open to all NCFCA affiliates in Region 8, which includes South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.  All who break at these tournaments earn an invitation to the Regional Tournament.

Regional Championship Tournament – open to all NCFCA affiliates in Region 8 who broke at a previous tournament that year.  Affiliates compete only in the events in which they have advanced.  The highest ranked competitors earn an invitation to the National Invitational Tournament.

National Championship Tournament – open to all NCFCA affiliates in the nation who have earned an invitation through a National Open Tournament, a Regional Invitational Tournament, or the At-large program.  Affiliates compete only in the events in which they received an invitation.

Moot Court Online Qualifying Tournaments – are open to eligible competitors from all regions across the nation.
