Speakers of Truth

Verdict is a competitive speech and debate club for Christian, homeschooling students age 12 through 18. We are located in Sarasota, Florida, and are affiliated with the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA). Our mission is to equip students to become godly, servant leaders who can effectively communicate and impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Why compete in speech and debate? Tournament competitions provide our students with a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills as speakers and debaters. As they compete against their peers in an environment that emphasizes both excellence and encouragement, students learn to communicate clearly and persuasively. More importantly, they learn to humbly give their best effort while supporting others in both victory and defeat. Finally, speech and debate tournaments allow students to meet like-minded youth from all over the country, form friendships that can last a lifetime, and gain experience that can help them in their college career.

Verdict Speech and Debate Club will be meeting on Mondays at The Tabernacle Church, 4141 Desoto Rd., Sarasota, Florida.
